Bambi is a team of technology veterans, from Silicon Valley to New York, who got obsessed with one allegedly unglamorous industry: non-emergency medical transportation.
We built the AI-powered, human-centered software the NEMT industry should have had years ago, and we're still just getting started.

Making NEMT
Easy Since
Bambi did not start in a boardroom. It started with two families, and one stubborn problem that people miss the care they need because they cannot get a ride to it and a reliable ride back home.
When transportation falls through, treatment falls through with it. The more NEMT providers there are on the road, the more access there is, especially in the rural areas that need it most. Bambi exists to help those providers start, run, and grow.
For years the hardest part of running NEMT was not the driving. It was the lack of one good system to schedule, dispatch, route, and bill from. Operators were stuck stitching tools together. Bambi exists to be the one system that does it well
NEMT has been handed clunky legacy software and vendors who disappear after the sale. Bambi exists to change the standard: modern, AI-optimized software, transparent pricing, and a team that actually answers the phone.

Nirav grew up around a rural Illinois hospital where his parents worked, close enough to see how often care came down to something as basic as a ride. People missed appointments, and missedtreatment, because they had no affordable way to get there.
He started Bambi with Charles on a simple belief: more NEMT businesses on the road means more access, especially in the rural areas that need it most. Before Bambi, Nirav built his career at IBM and Electronic Arts and led several technologystartups. He holds a BA from Columbia University and an MBA from MIT Sloan.

Charles spent years arranging NEMT for his wheelchair-using grandfather, and he noticed something. The breakdowns were not really human error. They were the absence of one good technology, a NEMT-savvy system that could handle scheduling, fleet management, and optimization in a singleplace, and do it well.
So he built one with Nirav. Charles was a senior software engineer at AmEx,Dailymotion, and Better.com. He holds a BA from Tufts and a graduate degree from Columbia University.
What Bambi runs on.
We do serious work without taking ourselves too seriously. The "Run Bambi Run" button is the proof: powerful software can still be a little bit fun.
Every trip is a team of humans getting a person to care and back safely. We build for the dispatcher's worst Monday and for the passenger who just needs to make their appointment.
Tech + Transportation changes by the minute, and so does Bambi. We ship, listen, and adjust faster than legacy vendors can schedule a meeting about it.
Transparent pricing, no contracts, and a team that answers the phone. Trust is not a word we print on a page. It is how we operate.
Plenty of software can schedule a trip. Here is what you only get with Bambi.
