The heart behind SilverLift
Tameka Baker spent more than 20 years in health services, including a nonprofit role that showed her up close how missing transportation leads to worse health and to isolation. She started SilverLift so that age or health would not decide who gets to care, to community, and to the rest of life.
Rides that go beyond the ride
SilverLift drives seniors and adults in health coaching to doctor visits, dialysis, chemotherapy and adult day care, plus workshops and social outings. Companion service is part of the offer for riders who want help or company.
"Tameka is also so friendly and she is like my daughter. I am grateful to have her on my healthcare team." A SilverLift rider
