Accessibility Statement

Last Update

Bambi is committed to making hibambi.com usable by everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, screen magnification, and other assistive technology.

This matters to us beyond compliance. Bambi builds software for non-emergency medical transportation, an industry whose entire purpose is getting people to care when getting there is hard. Our customers serve passengers who are elderly, disabled, or managing chronic conditions. A website those passengers cannot use would be a contradiction.

The standard we build to

We target Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. WCAG is the international standard referenced by the Americans with Disabilities Act and by Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act.

Current conformance status

hibambi.com is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Partially conformant means most of the site meets the standard and some content does not yet.

We state this plainly rather than claiming full conformance. An inaccurate claim would help no one, least of all the people who rely on these features.

What we have done

  • Built accessibility into the site itself rather than installing an accessibility overlay plugin. Overlays load after a page renders and frequently never reach assistive technology at all.
  • Semantic HTML structure, labeled form fields, and text alternatives for meaningful images.
  • Keyboard operability for navigation, forms, and interactive components.
  • Color contrast checked against WCAG 2.1 AA thresholds.
  • Automated accessibility testing across our core page templates.

Known limitations

We are actively working on the following:

  • Color contrast on a small number of secondary text elements, and on one interactive state map, falls below the required ratio.
  • Some carousel components expose incorrect list roles to screen readers.
  • A small number of image links are missing accessible names.
  • Text placed over background images and video has not been fully verified for contrast.

Each item has an owner and a target date. This list is updated as items are resolved.

Tell us where we fall short

If you hit a barrier on this site, we want to hear about it. Reports from people actually using assistive technology find problems that automated tools miss.

Email support@bambi.health with the page address and a description of what went wrong. We aim to respond within two business days, and we will tell you what we plan to do about it and when.

If you need information from this site in a different format, ask us and we will provide it.

How this statement is maintained

This statement was prepared on July 27, 2026. It is reviewed whenever significant changes ship to the site, and at minimum every six months.

Assessment approach: self-evaluation using automated testing (axe-core, WCAG 2.1 A and AA rule sets) combined with manual review.
