How two first-year NEMT owners traded paper calendars for Bambi.
Roslyn Taggart and Michael Heidelberg both started NEMT companies in March 2023. Roslyn outgrew a paper calendar and a spreadsheet. Michael tried several platforms first. Both landed on Bambi for the same reasons: easy to learn, affordable, and a support team that listens.

Quotes are from a recorded interview with Bambi CEO Nirav Chheda, November 2023.
Two owners, same starting line
Roslyn Taggart, owner of B811 Medical Transportation, and Michael Heidelberg, owner of JAX NEMT, both started their businesses in March 2023. They sat down with Bambi CEO Nirav Chheda to talk about their first months with the software.
Outgrowing paper
Roslyn ran her schedule on a paper calendar and an Excel spreadsheet. It stopped working as the business grew. She wanted something simple and straightforward, and found Bambi easy to use with support that answered.
"I was able to talk with some of the developers over on the Bambi side. So if I had a suggestion... they also added that, helped out a lot also." Roslyn Taggart
Shopping around first
Michael tried a number of NEMT software platforms before Bambi. He found Bambi the easiest to use and the most affordable, and he says new dispatchers pick it up fast.
"I know a dispatcher can jump on this software, and within a day or two, start scheduling trips." Michael Heidelberg
What both owners named: ease of use, price, customer support, route optimization, reporting, and managing shifts and drivers in one place.
It completely changed my business. I can do it in less than two minutes.
B811 Medical Transportation is owned by Roslyn Taggart. JAX NEMT is owned by Michael Heidelberg. Both companies started operating in March 2023.
