The job it replaces
Hospitals and health systems that book rides through VectorCare send transport requests to their vendors. Without a connection, someone on your team copies each accepted request into dispatch. With Bambi connected, those trips land on the same board as every other trip you run.
What comes through
- Trips (VectorCare to Bambi): Live. Trips facilities send you through VectorCare arrive on your Bambi dispatch board automatically, ready to assign to a driver.
- Everything else: trip details and completion data vary by facility. Your onboarding team walks you through exactly what moves in each direction before you go live, so nothing surprises you on billing day.
What still happens with VectorCare
Your vendor relationship with each facility stays in VectorCare. What completion data is used depends on how each facility sets up its VectorCare account.
Turning it on
Tell your Bambi onboarding team which facilities send you trips through VectorCare. We coordinate the connection and let you know when trips are flowing. No cost to you.
If trips ever stop arriving, email support@bambi.health and our support team will check the connection.
