The job it replaces
Running Modivcare trips by hand goes like this. Log into the Modivcare transportation provider portal. Pull the day's trip list. Retype every trip into dispatch: rider, pickup, drop-off, appointment time, mobility level. Check back when trips change. For a fleet running dozens of Modivcare trips a day, that's hours of double entry. With Bambi connected, Modivcare assignments show up on the same board as every other trip you run.
What comes through
- Trip assignments (Modivcare to Bambi): Live. Trips Modivcare assigns to you arrive on your Bambi dispatch board automatically, ready to assign to a driver.
- Trip pricing (Modivcare to Bambi): Live. Modivcare sends the trip price with each trip.
- Everything else: trip changes, rider fields and anything sent back to Modivcare vary by broker. Your onboarding team walks you through exactly what moves in each direction before you go live, so nothing surprises you on billing day.
What still happens with Modivcare
Bambi replaces the daily retyping, not your Modivcare relationship. Credentialing, contracting and rates stay between you and Modivcare.
Turning it on
Setup runs through your Bambi onboarding team. You authorize the connection, which costs you nothing, and Bambi handles the technical setup. Already a Bambi customer? Message us in the app and we'll get Modivcare connected.
If trips ever stop arriving, email support@bambi.health and our support team will check the connection.
