Many PACE programs collect ride requests on forms and spreadsheets, then a dispatcher re-types every one. Bambi's Facility Portal gives your own departments a login to request rides, see what is already booked, and get dispatch's answer right away.

Ride requests come from everywhere in a PACE program. They should all land in one queue.
Requests arrive in the dispatch queue complete, with the participant, addresses and time already in the system. Nobody copies them out of a spreadsheet.
Staff can see whether a participant already has a ride before they request another, so the center, the clinic and the provider stop booking the same trip three times.
Every request waits until a dispatcher accepts or rejects it. If 10 o'clock is full, call the department and adjust the time before you accept.
Staff check the portal instead of phoning dispatch to ask whether a participant was picked up.

Set up the Facility Portal for your own teams: the clinic, nursing, the day center, social work. Each person gets a login. You decide which fields are required, so every request arrives with what your drivers need.
At myPlace Health, departments used to submit transportation requests through spreadsheet forms that dispatch then re-entered by hand, often half a day of work, with wrong addresses, phone numbers and dates along the way. After turning on the portal, Wirter Mangrum called it life-changing.
New requests show as blue cards in the dispatch queue with a red-dot count, and a notification reaches dispatchers in Bambi and by email. Accept from Dispatch or the Trips page, or reject with a reason.
If the requested time does not fit, call the department, agree on a new time and adjust the trip before you accept it. Accepted trips are assigned like any other, by hand or with Run Bambi Run.

Department staff see the status of the trips they requested and can follow accepted trips on a live map. That visibility is also what cuts duplicates: before requesting a 10 o'clock ride, staff can see the participant is already coming in at 8.
Every call that does not reach dispatch is time your dispatchers spend on the board instead.
What mattered most to us wasn’t perfection, it was progress. Seeing consistent improvements and real support made us feel like we finally had a partner.

Yes. Bambi's Facility Portal gives clinic, nursing and day center staff their own logins to request rides. Each request lands in the dispatch queue, and dispatch accepts or rejects it.
Staff can see the trips already booked for the participants they work with, so they can check whether someone is already coming in before requesting another ride.
Dispatch does. Every request waits as a requested trip until a dispatcher accepts or rejects it. If the time does not work, dispatch can adjust it with the department before accepting.

Enrollment grows faster than the dispatch team. Here is what Bambi takes off their plate.
myPlace Health, a Los Angeles PACE program, cut transportation cost per member per month by 65% with Bambi, and cost per trip by about 68%, while the fleet grew to 26 vans with no dispatchers added.Program-reported. Not a guarantee of results for other programs.
