Quick Start Guide

2.4.1 Adding Vehicles

  1. Navigate to “Vehicles” on the Fleet Sub-Menu and tap the green “Add a Vehicle” button on the top right of the navigation.
  1. Select Vehicle Type:
  • Ambulatory: can only accommodate walking passengers.
  • Wheelchair: can accommodate wheelchairs.
  • Stretcher: can accommodate stretcher cots.
  1. Activate Vehicle toggle on “Is this vehicle active?”
  1. Create Vehicle Name
  1. Add Address to “Overnight storage location
    Note: Overnight storage location will be used by Drivers and to calculate trip times to and from that location.
  1. Add Vehicle Details: Make, Model, Color, Year, VIN, License Plate, License Plate State
  1. Proceed to “Next” step
  1. Add Capacity Configurations: Select how many passengers can safely be in the vehicle at the same time, and what extra equipment can fit.
  • Ambulatory: Passenger riding in normal seat.
  • Broda Chair: Passenger riding in a specialty wheelchair.
  • Empty Wheelchairs: Wheelchairs without passengers.
  • Geri Chair: Senior living chair.
  • Stretcher: Passenger riding in stretcher cot.
  • Wheelchair: Passenger riding in wheelchair.
  • Wheelchair XL: Passenger riding in a bariatric wheelchair.


Example A: Vehicle with a capacity configuration of:

  • 2 ambulatory
  • 1 wheelchair

This vehicle can safely transport 1 person riding in a wheelchair and 2 people riding in normal seats. This vehicle will be available for wheelchair trips with or without accompanying passengers.


Example B: The same vehicle could also be configured for a single passenger in a stretcher without an accompanying passenger, perhaps by removing the back seat. In that case, the vehicle would have a second capacity configuration of:

  • 1 stretcher

The vehicle will then be available for stretcher trips.
Note: You can Edit these anytime or Delete a Credential by tapping the “Edit” Pencil icon for any listed Member.

2.4.2 View Vehicle Inspections

These will appear here in the Fleet Sub-Menu “Inspections” as drivers submit their completed inspections via the Bambi Driver App.

  1. Filter by Driver
  1. Download Inspections by Tapping “Download” in the top right corner of the navigation menu.

2.4.3 Vehicle Credentials - Add a Credential

Add Credentials to Members for compliance and training.

  1. Navigate to “Credentials” on the Fleet Sub-Menu and tap the green “Add Credential” button on the top right of the navigation.
  1. Select Credential Type
  1. Select a Vehicle to Add Credentials
  1. Indicate Expiration Date
  1. Tap “Save

Note: You can Edit these anytime or Delete a Credential by tapping the “Edit” Pencil icon for any listed Vehicle.
